Care Guide

Bamboo Bedding
This section applies to: Fitted Sheets, Duvet Covers, Pillowcases, Baby Cot Sheets, and Pet Bedding
Washing & Drying:
- First Use: Always wash your new bedding before its first use to soften the fibers.
- Wash Separately: Wash your bamboo bedding on its own or with other delicate items. Avoid rough fabrics like denim or items with zippers to prevent pilling.
- Machine Settings: Use a gentle or delicate cycle with cold water, or at a maximum temperature of 30°C (86°F).
- Detergent: Use a mild, liquid detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as they can damage the natural bamboo fibers.
- Drying: Line drying is highly recommended to preserve the fibers and color. If using a machine, tumble dry on a low heat or delicate setting and remove promptly.
- Ironing: If needed, use a low heat setting (max 110°C / 230°F).
Treating Stains on Bamboo Fabric
Accidents happen! The key to successful stain removal is to act quickly and treat the stain before washing and drying. Heat from a dryer can set a stain permanently. Here are several gentle and effective methods.Important First Step: Before applying any treatment, gently blot the fresh stain with a clean cloth to remove any excess. Always dab, never rub, as rubbing can spread the stain.
For General Stains & Odors:
- White Vinegar Mixture: Create a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 4 parts water. Soak the stained area for a few minutes before washing.
For Oil & Grease Stains:
- Dish Detergent: Apply a small amount of gentle dish soap directly onto the stain. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes before washing.
For Protein & Organic Stains (like blood or dirt):
- Enzyme-Based Stain Remover: Apply directly to the stain and let it soak for up to 15 minutes before washing.
- Hydrogen Peroxide (for light-colored fabrics): Use with caution and test a hidden spot first. Add a few drops of 3% hydrogen peroxide to water and soak the stain for only a few minutes before washing.
For Lifting General Stains:
- Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate): Create a paste with water and baking soda. Apply to the stain and let it sit for 30 minutes before washing.

Bamboo Cotton Towels
Washing & Drying:
- Wash Before Use: Wash towels before their first use to increase their absorbency.
- Machine Settings: Use a gentle cycle with cold water or a maximum of 30°C (86°F) to protect the fibers.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. Crucially, avoid fabric softeners, as they can leave a residue that reduces the absorbency of your towels. Do not use bleach.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low to medium setting to help keep them soft and fluffy. You can also line dry, but a gentle tumble dry often yields a softer result for towels.
- Avoid Snags: Wash towels in a separate load from clothing with hooks or zippers.

Bamboo Duvet
Your NakedLab BambooSilk™ duvet is filled with ultra-fine bamboo fibers. To protect the delicate filling, professional care is essential.
- Professional Dry Clean Only: We strongly recommend professional dry cleaning to maintain its quality and prevent the filling from clumping. Home washing can damage the duvet's structure.

Bamboo Eye Mask
Your bamboo eye mask is a delicate item. Gentle care will keep it clean and soft.
- Hand Wash (Recommended): Hand wash in cool water with a few drops of a mild, pH-neutral detergent.
- Drying: Gently squeeze out excess water (do not wring) and lay it flat on a towel to air dry.
