Waking up parched, with a scratchy throat?

When your lips part in your sleep, the air you breathe arrives cold, dry and unfiltered. You wake at 4am reaching for water, with a dry mouth and a throat that feels like sandpaper. Our mouth tape gently encourages your lips to stay closed, so your nose, which was built for the job, does the breathing.

  • 👃 Air, Warmed and FilteredYour nose warms and humidifies incoming air and traps dust and pollen with hairs and mucus, so air reaches your lungs closer to body temperature and humidity. The nasal passages also produce nitric oxide, a gas that helps widen blood vessels in the lungs and supports oxygen uptake.
  • 🫧 Less Dry MouthMouth breathing dries the mouth and throat, and saliva is your first defence for teeth and gums: it washes away food particles and bacteria and buffers acids. Keeping the mouth closed helps saliva stay where it belongs and eases the dry, sticky feeling.
  • 🔇 Quieter Nights, for SomeSnoring happens when relaxed tissues in the throat vibrate as air passes. An open mouth can let the jaw and tongue drop back and narrow the airway, which makes it worse. Encouraging nasal breathing may reduce snoring for some people, though research is still emerging and it isn't a treatment for sleep apnea.
  •  🌬️ A Little Room to BreatheThe centre opening lets air move and allows sips of water, so the tape never feels like a hard seal. That helps while you get used to nasal breathing, which can feel unfamiliar for the first few nights.
  • 🤍 Gentle on LipsThe skin on and around the lips is thin and has no oil glands, so harsh adhesives irritate it easily. Soft cotton tape is gentler. To remove it, hold the skin taut and peel slowly, and dab it with water if it feels sticky.

Designed for adults. Please read the safety guidance in the FAQ before your first use.

💌 A note from our founder:

Hands up if your partner's snoring wakes you up.

For years, that was my reality. But the bigger issue was on his side of the bed. My husband would complain about feeling exhausted, even after a full nine hours of sleep -he just wasn't getting the deep, restorative rest his body needed.

My research led me to the incredible science of nasal breathing (if you don't know, you have to read it up), but the existing mouth tape we found felt clinical and uncomfortable. I was determined to create a better option for hi - one that was soft, gentle, and so comfortable you’d barely notice it was there.

That's why we designed this mouth tape. It’s a simple way to support healthy nasal breathing, which can not only reduce snoring (meaning better sleep for you) but also dramatically improve the quality of rest (meaning better mornings for everyone).

It has truly transformed our nights, and I hope it does the same for yours.

Love,Joyce

FAQ

How is NakedLab's Mouth Tape different from others?

NakedLab's Mouth Tape stands out with its unique center hole design that allows for airflow and convenient water sips during the night—something most mouth tapes don't offer. Our tapes are made from skin-friendly cotton that's lightweight, thin, and breathable, rather than harsh materials that can irritate. We also offer three stylish color options (Soft Pink, Hot Pink, and Mocha Brown) so you can choose what feels right for you. Plus, our tapes are OEKO-TEX certified and made with organic materials, ensuring no harmful chemicals touch your skin.

What are the main benefits of using mouth tape?

  • Nasal Breathing: Humidifies, warms, and filters air while increasing oxygen uptake and improving circulation
  • Reduce Snoring: Significantly decreases likelihood of snoring, insomnia, and sleep apnea
  • Better Sleep Quality: Promotes deeper, more restorative sleep
  • Improved Daytime Performance: Delivers higher-quality oxygen to the brain, enhancing focus and decision-making
  • Fresher Breath: Maintains mouth moisture, reducing risk of cavities, gum disease, and bad breath
  • Better Hydration: Prevents losing about 1 liter of water through mouth breathing
  • Jawline Definition: Promotes proper oral posture that can help define your jawline

How do I use the mouth tape?

  • Apply the tape before sleep (wait at least 15 minutes after completing your nighttime routine)
  • Close your mouth before applying—not too tight, not too loose
  • If you have a mustache, turn your lips inward before applying the strip
  • Remove gently in the morning by pulling while keeping your skin taut
  • Use nightly for best results; most people need several days of consistent use to experience maximum benefits

Is mouth tape safe to use?

Our mouth tape is designed for adults and is not recommended for anyone under 12 years old. Do not use if you have:

  • Breathing disorders or heart conditions
  • Nasal congestion
  • Risk of vomiting
  • Are using alcohol or sedatives
  • Might have trouble removing the tape on your own

Please consult with a healthcare professional before use, especially if you have any health concerns or medical conditions.

What if I feel a sense of panic or feel like I can’t breathe?

It’s completely normal to feel a new sensation when you first start. If this happens, take a moment to pause. Close your eyes and focus on taking slow, deep breaths in and out through your nose. Your body is naturally designed to breathe this way, and doing so sends signals of calm to your nervous system.Remember, you are in control. If you ever feel truly uncomfortable, simply remove the tape. There's no pressure. You can always try again for a shorter time tomorrow. It's a gentle process of getting reacquainted with your body's natural way of breathing.

Can I drink water while wearing the tape?

Yes! The mouth tape features a center hole design that allows for convenient sips of water during the night while still maintaining the benefits of nasal breathing.

What should I do if the tape feels sticky or hard to remove in the morning?

If the tape feels sticky when you wake up (which can happen when your skin is dry), simply dab some water on the mouth tape to make it wet, then gently remove it. The water will help soften the adhesive and make removal much easier and more comfortable. Always remove slowly while keeping your skin taut to avoid any discomfort.

How long does it take to see results?

Most people need several days of consistent nightly use to experience the maximum benefits. Be patient and trust the process—you'll feel the difference in your sleep quality and morning energy levels.

What's your return policy?

Due to hygiene reasons, refunds or exchanges are not available for mouth tape products.

Is the product eco-friendly?

Yes, our mouth tape is made with organic materials and is OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it contains no harmful chemicals.
