Care guide

NakedLab's fabric is a naturally durable material that becomes softer and more luxurious with every wash. To preserve its exceptional quality and comfort, simply follow these care instructions.

  • Wash before first use. Wash alone or avoid washing with rough materials.

  • Machine wash at or below 30ºC, on a gentle low spin cycle. Continuous hot water washing has the potential to shrink bamboo fibres.

  • Do not use bleach, harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as they can damage the natural bamboo fibre and can discolour or mark bamboo products.

  • Take out immediately at the end of machine wash cycle.

  • Line-dry your bamboo products, or tumble dry on delicate settings.

  • If you choose to iron, use a low heat (max 110ºC) setting.

We accept returns of products that have not been opened, washed or used within 7 days of ship date. These items must be in their original packaging with tags still attached and in a resaleable condition. All returns must be processed through our Returns Portal.

What is the thread count of NakedLab Modal sheets?

Our Modal sheets don’t use a traditional cotton thread count, as Modal fibres are naturally fine, silky, and tightly woven. Instead, we focus on the quality and density of the weave to achieve exceptional softness, breathability, and long-lasting comfort, delivering the luxurious feel NakedLab is known for.

What’s the difference between NakedLab Modal sheets and other brands?

Does the Modal fabric pill?

Slight pilling may occur initially as Modal is made from natural plant-based fibres and is not treated with harsh chemicals. This is completely normal and will reduce over time with gentle washing. Pilling is not a defect - it’s simply part of the natural settling process of the fabric. To minimise pilling, wash your bedding inside out on a gentle cycle, avoid high heat, and line dry where possible.

What bed sizes do the Modal sheets fit?

Our Modal bedding is currently available in Twin, King, and Super King sizes, designed to bring luxurious comfort to every bedroom.

Each piece is tailored to fit standard mattress dimensions, with deep pocket fitted sheets for a secure and smooth fit. We’ll be introducing additional sizes soon, so stay tuned for updates.
