Palau Midnight is our nighttime incense, made for the moment the day finally softens. It opens with soft herbal notes and orchid, moves into soothing lavender, and finishes with warm sandalwood and musk.

Developed with Collins, a Korean fragrance studio known for refined, atmospheric scent design, and inspired by our Palau Midnight bedding colour.

How to use

1. Slot a stick into a holder clip and set it on the tin.
2. Light the tip until it catches flame, then blow out gently. The ember should glow.
3. Let it burn down (about 20 minutes). Open a window for the first few minutes.

One stick per ritual. Many people light one as a cue that the day is done: for an evening wind-down, after a bath or shower, or while reading.

Let the stick finish burning, or extinguish it, before you go to sleep.

Never leave a burning stick unattended. Keep away from children and pets, and enjoy in a ventilated space.

Do I need to ventilate when using incense?

It is recommended to ventilate areas thoroughly during the initial 'burning phase' to let the smoke escape.

Does incense expire?

Incense has no expiration date. Store in the tin to avoid exposure to moisture and out of direct sunlight to make it last even longer.

Does incense leave soot after use?

Collins Incense has a subtle scent and produces less smoke than traditional 'Jukhyang' methods, the more common forms used in South East Asia. The tin also serves as a base for the incense if you are worried about mess or damage.

Is the Incense pet-friendly?

Collins incense is completely safe, made from all natural raw materials, and labelled with a 'Safety Standard Confirmation Mark'.
Most pets are familiar with scented products in and around the home, and will be unaffected by the incense. If you know you pet is sensitive to some smells (such as perfume or scented candles) then extra ventilation is recommended.
